I still remember the moment I watched an image magically emerge in the photo development tray. I was hooked on photography.
Since then I have worked as a photojournalist for the Winston-Salem Journal in North Carolina and taught photojournalism, photo editing, multimedia documentary photography, and visual communications at the University of North Carolina and San José State University.
Multimedia storytelling using tools such as Soundslides and Final Cut Pro adds a rich dimension of expression to visual reporting. This website is dedicated to a visual narrative of the human condition.
